PROTECTION FROM UNEXPECTED LOSSES

Cell Phone Protection4
Receive up to $800 of replacement or repair costs if your cell phone is stolen or damaged, in the U.S. and abroad. $50 deductible applies. Up to two claims and maximum of $1,000 per eligible account, per 12-month period. Covers up to four phones on a cell phone bill (cell phone bill must be paid through eligible account).
 
Debit Advantage®
Buyers Protection4 covers items for 90 days from the date of purchase against accidental breakage, fire or theft. Extended Warranty4 extends the U.S. manufacturer’s original written warranty up to one full year on most new retail purchases if the warranty is less than five years (item(s) must be purchased entirely with eligible account).
 
Roadside Assistance4
24-hour coverage for roadside assistance services including vehicle towing; fuel, oil, and water delivery; battery, lock-out, and tire assistance up to $100 per occurrence. Maximum of two occurrences per 12-month period.

Direct Deposit makes depositing hands free

With Direct Deposit, you arrange to send your entire net pay, Social Security or pension check directly to the credit union each payday. It's fast, safe and easy! Direct Deposit gives you the security of knowing your money is automatically deposited into your Team One account(s). It can even be automatically divided among different accounts based on your direction. You'll have immediate access to your money without waiting in line.

To begin enjoying the convenience of direct deposit, simply give your Payroll Department our routing/transit number (272484470), and your Team One account number, or provide them with a voided check and tell them you would like Direct Deposit with Team One.

If you receive Social Security payments, you can sign up to have these payments direct deposited into your Team One account by visiting godirect.org or calling 1-800-772-1213.
Reminder: Please use your account number for any direct deposits or automatic debits.

Save Effortlessly with Payroll Deduction

With Payroll Deduction you authorize your employer to send part of your paycheck directly to the credit union each payday. Your deposit can be divided into any of your accounts or used to make loan payments at your discretion. Payroll deduction encourages you to save effortlessly by having the funds deducted right out of your paycheck.

All you need to get started is to provide your payroll provider with Team One's routing/transit number (272484470) and your appropriate TOCU account number.

New Security for Checks

For your security, the next time you order paper checks, your account number will no longer appear at the bottom of your checks. It will be replaced with a MICR number that links to your Checking Account. (See B in the sample check image below.)

This new MICR number works the same for check clearing, direct deposit and automated debits that may come out of your account.

We have taken this proactive step to help protect our Members in the event that their checkbook is lost or stolen. If in the event that your checkbook is lost/stolen, your MICR number can be changed instead of having to change your whole account number.

Team One CU knows that unforeseen expenses come up that may leave you short on funds. Our Courtesy Pay Program can help.

Courtesy Pay provides overdraft protection when the available balance in your Checking Account is insufficient to cover a transaction. There is no fee to enroll and with a Team One Checking Account, you're automatically enrolled for electronic transactions (ACH) and checks. If you want the same coverage for your everyday (non-recurring) Debit Card transactions, opt in to Courtesy Pay for Everyday Debit Card Transactions. Eligibility: You will be eligible for our Courtesy Pay program if you have an eligible account type and if you maintain your account in good standing. Maintaining your account in good standing includes, among other requirements, the following:
  • You are not in default on any loan obligation to us;
  • You bring your account to a positive balance at least once every thirty days; and
  • Your account is not the subject of any legal or administrative order or levy.
Courtesy Pay is a program extended at our discretion. We may refuse to pay an overdraft for you at any time without prior notice, reason or cause, even though your account is in good standing and even though we previously paid overdrafts for you. We reserve the right to exclude you from the Courtesy Pay program at any time and for any reason, including for what we believe to be excessive use of Courtesy Pay.
