This recognition comes after a year of celebration and growth. In 2025, the credit union marked 90 years of service to the community and announced plans to open a new corporate office in the heart of downtown Saginaw.
“We are both honored and humbled to receive this recognition from Newsweek for the third consecutive year,” said Team One CEO Derrick Barber. “It speaks strongly to our team’s unwavering commitment to delivering meaningful member service, offering competitive products and services, and supporting our members along their journey toward financial well-being. I am so proud of the work our team does each and every day.”
Newsweek evaluated more than 8,800 banks and credit unions nationwide and selected about 2,400 for in-depth review. The rankings were based on feedback from over 66,000 consumers, 82 million online and in-app reviews, and key factors like trust, service quality, digital experience, and overall satisfaction.
Since 1935, Team One Credit Union has been a proud supporter of the community, providing financial products and services to local families and businesses.
